Abstract
The proposed transformed two phase sampling ratio and product type estimators for population mean in the presence of non-response are found to be more efficient than corresponding two phase sampling ratio and product type estimators and are equally efficient to regression estimators. The empirical study shows that the proposed estimators are more efficient with respect to corresponding estimators in a wide range of the transformation constants. In the case of fixed cost and the specified precision, the conventional transformed two phase sampling ratio type estimator is found to be equally efficient to the regression estimator and
has equal minimum cost, while it is found to be more efficient than the other relevant estimators and also has minimum cost in comparison to the other relevant estimators.
